To provide farmers equal access to government programs, the Provincial Government of Bataan through the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (OPA) launched Agri Bataan Rise Text Center at The Bunker today, July 8 powered by the Smart Infocast System of Smart Communications, Inc.

“Ito po ay para lahat ay may pantay pantay na oportunidad dahil po yung iba kapag medyo malayo na, hindi na po nararating ng impormasyon kaya through this project, lahat ay alam ang mga proyekto natin,” Provincial Agriculturist Engr. Johanna Dizon said.

Engr. Dizon also stressed that aside from providing them information regarding programs and projects, they are aiming to be transparent and to get feedback in order to provide and assist farmers with efficient delivery of public service.

Excited about the endeavor, Ms. Aurora Dimalanta, one of the farmers, expressed her support. “Natutuwa lamang po ako na may mga ganito tayong mga proyekto dahil napakahalaga po ng komunikasyon sa panahon ngayon kasi sa ganito, mag go grow po tayo kaya salamat po sa inyo”.
